Method 2: Use Scope to Add Two Points to Measure Distance

  • Step 1: At the bottom right corner of the screen click on the second button which is labeled Distance Calculation.
  • Step 2: Click on the first icon next to the compass at the top of the screen then select “Scope Mode.”

After that you click on the fourth red button at the bottom right corner of the screen to activate the drawing tool. Mark your starting and ending points by drawing a line or swinging your finger on the screen. The distance between the two points will be displayed on the screen. To finalize your results then click on the checkmark icon.

Method 4: Use Coordinates

  • Step 1: At the bottom right corner of the screen click on the second button which is labeled Distance Calculation.
  • Step 2: Click on the first icon next to the compass at the top of the screen then select “Coordinates Mode.”
  • Step 3: Use two fingers to scroll the map to the location points where you want to measure the distance. After that you click on the fourth red button at the bottom right corner of the screen to activate the coordinate entry tool. Enter the right latitude and longitude coordinates of your starting point and then click the red button again to enter the coordinates of your ending point. The distance between the two points will be displayed on the screen. To finalize your results then click on the checkmark icon.

Method 5: Use GPS Live

  • Step 1: At the bottom right corner of the screen click on the second button which is labeled Distance Calculation.
  • Step 2: Click on the first icon next to the compass at the top of the screen then select “GPS Live Mode.”
  • Step 3: GPS Live will use your current location on the map as your starting point. After that you click on the fourth red button at the bottom right corner of the screen to activate the GPS Live Tracking/Recording feature. Start moving towards your ending point and the distance between the two points will be displayed on the screen in real-time. Once you reach your ending point then click on the checkmark icon to save your results.
